With an aim to democratise knowledge and produce critical journalism for communities in resistance, in the attempt to disbalance the status-quo The Polis Project believes in diversity, accessibility, and integrity.
Its ‘Politics Podcast’ deals with the politics of everyday life in conversation with leading academics, activists, and journalists providing deep insights into how one can navigate, and what one can do to help within a, turbulent political climate.
It hosts a second podcast – ‘5 Objects’ where guests are asked to choose five pieces or items that have influenced their intellectual life and their work. The following conversation uses these items as a medium to explore the guests’ personal, political, and intellectual beliefs and histories.
The Polis Project also updates a regular reading list that helps form a broad understanding of several prevalent socio-political, cultural problems that plague the environment today.
